The MOH Vietnam has issued a new circular Detailing a number of articles of the Government’s Decree No. 98/2021/ND-CP dated November 8, 2021, on the management of medical devices.
Scope of regulation: Classification of medical devices; Supplementing the list of in vitro diagnostic medical equipment that is not subject to quality assessment by a competent Vietnamese agency; The list of medical equipment of types B, C, D that can be bought and sold like ordinary goods; The list of medical equipment that must be inspected for safety and technical features; The list of medical equipment for which import permits are granted.
